• How do you Advertise/Post your truck?

After your truck is parked, start the app and tap on the button on the lower left hand side of the screen. If you have not previously posted your truck, tap SELFIE. If you have posted your truck before and want to use the same info, i.e. name, web site, speciality, tap on DEFAULT.

If you have tapped SELFIE, Center the truck in the window and tap on the button on the bottom center of the screen (You're basically taking a picture of the truck). The captured image will appear along with a "cancel" and "use photo" button. Tapping "cancel" will allow you to retake another image. Tapping on the "use photo" button brings up a screen where you enter the truck's name/identity, the truck's web site and select the Trucks specialty from the provided list.

You now have the choice of simply uploading the infomation and the trucks photo or adding a short (less than 15 sec) video.

Tapping on the "Post Truck" button allows the app to process the image and sends the data (including the image) to the app's remote server. Tapping on the "Post Truck & Video" button sends the data and the Video. That is all there is to it! Your truck's image and location are now available for "foodies" that use the app to find you.

• How do you make a short Video?

Tap on Post Truck & Video, the screen shows a Green "Start Video" button, a scrollable HELP section, a "Back Video" button, a "Cancel Button" and a "live" image of what the camera is seeing.

Tapping the "Back Video" button switches the camera to the front camera and the button name to "Front Video". Tapping the button again switches the camera and the name.

Tapping the Start Video, starts the video & audio recording. A red line above the "live" image indicates the timing. The recording stops when either 15 seconds has elapsed or you tap the stop button. You can now either redo the video, i.e;. start again, or save the video for upload.

Tapping "Cancel" terminates the entire procedure and gets you back to the map view.

• How are Meet Ups created/removed?

To create a Meet Up at your current location, simply tap the icon and a Meet Up pin will appear. The number of Likes will be initialized to 0 and the icon will change to the icon.

To remove a Meet Up, you must be close enough to its location so that the icon shows. Then simply tap it. The Meet Up pin will be removed and the icon will reappear.

• How do you incease Meet Ups Likes?

To incease the number of Likes, you must be close enough to the Meet Ups location so that the icon appears. Then
1) tap the Meet Up pin by the pulsing blue dot on the map.
2) tap the number under the icon

•Why is the icon sometimes not visible?

After you have Advertised or Posted your truck, i.e. taken its' picture & posted it to the social network, the icon remains invisible until you move your truck to a new location.

• How do you maintain In-App-Purchase(IAP) Status?

The app uses the IOS keychain function to maintain IAP status and Free Time Trial Dates so that simply deleting and reinstalling the app will not affect them.

• Does the app use too much of the battery?

The app uses the the iPhone's GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) service to collect and maintain position infomation. As the GPS service is on constantly while the app is in use, the concern is that the battery will run down quickly. Tests during the development of the app showed that running the app consumes about 3 - 5% of the battery per hour ( the test was for 8 hrs and the battery reading went from 90% to 67%). However, be aware that use of the GPS, even in background mode, will have a significant impact on battery duration.
