After you have Advertised or Posted your truck, i.e. taken its' picture & posted it to the social network, the icon remains invisible until you move your truck to a new location. • How do you maintain In-App-Purchase(IAP) Status? The app uses the IOS keychain function to maintain IAP status and Free Time Trial Dates so that simply deleting and reinstalling the app will not affect them. • Does the app use too much of the battery? The app uses the the iPhone's GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) service to collect and maintain position infomation. As the GPS service is on constantly while the app is in use, the concern is that the battery will run down quickly. Tests during the development of the app showed that running the app consumes about 3 - 5% of the battery per hour ( the test was for 8 hrs and the battery reading went from 90% to 67%). However, be aware that use of the GPS, even in background mode, will have a significant impact on battery duration. |
